The 2024 Card Party

On March 15th, the seniors hosted the annual Card Party and raised about $15,000 for the senior class to help cover the cost of senior week. With almost 300 pre-sold tickets and more visitors at the door, the event was a lively affair.  The event was organized by senior advisor Mrs. Antonucci with the help of fellow senior advisors Mrs. O’Neil, Mr. Muller, and Mr. Scoppa.

The Senior Card Party has been a major fundraiser for the LHS senior class since the 1970s, with the goal of ensuring all seniors can participate in end-of-year Senior week activities at no additional cost to families.

The event itself is a massive undertaking, requiring active participation from seniors, their families, as well as the larger school community. This year, students, staff, parents, and businesses donated gifts for the Tricky Tray portion of the card party. All of the gifts are collected, recorded, wrapped, and stored in Mrs. A’s room until the event.

Proceeds from the Card Party fund senior events including the class trip to Dorney Park.
