On October 8, 2014 American Horror Story returned with its fourth season. This year the creators, Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, decided to base the plot in 1952 in Jupiter, Florida. This seasoAHStory fsn, American Horror Story: Freak Show, revolves around a struggling freak show and its desire to survive and the characters’  wish to be treated as equals in the community. The main cast includes: Sarah Paulson who plays Bet and Dott (conjoined twins),  Evan Peters who plays Jimmy Darling (Lobster Boy), Emma Roberts who plays Maggie Esmerelda ( a psychic), Jessica Lange as Elsa Mars (the ring leader), along with others, work together to create one of the most successful shows on television. Incorporating horror with romance, American Horror Story manages to keep the fans wanting for more each week. Due to popular demand, the first two episodes were 90-minutes long instead of an hour. With guest stars almost every week and eerie characters such as Twisty the Clown, the show manages to remain prosperous. At the beginning of each scene, the network constantly has to remind the viewers that this show is intended for mature audiences. Viewer discretion is certainly advised due to the gore and maturity of American Horror Story. After the first three seasons, the fanbase still grows with record breaking statistics such as making 5.54 million dollars in one season. With outstanding cinematography, a powerful cast, and numerous plot twists, American Horror Story: Freak Show will be the most talked t.v. show of the season. In the end, “We’re all freaks!”
